Austin Rickabaugh, DDS
Dr. Rickabaugh is a small-town Kansan with a big heart for his patients! He’s proud of his southeast Kansas roots, where he grew up alongside his two sisters in Chanute. Dr. Rickabaugh chose to pursue dentistry after shadowing his hometown dentist during the summer following his first year of undergrad. He received a degree in Biology from Kansas State University where he met his wife. After finishing his degree, he moved to Omaha to complete his dental education at Creighton University!
An advocate for thorough education and expertise, Dr. Rickabaugh pursued a residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, where he expanded on his cosmetic, full-mouth rehabilitation, endodontics, and implant surgery skills. He practiced in Kansas City for three years before taking ownership of the practice from Dr. Voorhees. When not helping patients maintain or improve their smiles, Dr. Rickabaugh loves hunting, fishing, golfing, or just relaxing with his wife and their two Australian shepherds.
For Dr. Rickabaugh, owning his practice was a must. He found some of the pressures of corporate dentistry impersonal and numbers-driven. Dentistry at his practice needed to be personal, personalized, and family-forward. He aims to build a lasting relationship with all of his patients so they know that they’re always coming to a compassionate, professional office.
When not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Rickabaugh back home on his father’s property enjoying all of the beauty and bounty of nature, no matter the season!
