Kelley enjoys her career as a dental hygienist. She is a native Kansan and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and a degree from Wichita State University in Dental Hygiene. Kelley enjoys making her patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental care visits. She brings years of experience and knowledge to the dental office and her patients.
Kelley is a proud wife, mother, and nana and loves everything family, Kansas City, and the Chiefs!
Sophia has been a dental assistant for over nine years, only taking time off to be with her children. When not helping patients receive the expert dental care they need, Sophia loves spending time with her husband and daughters, cheering on the Chiefs, or busying herself with crafts and reading!
Deidre began her career in the military before leaving native Southern California for Kansas in 2012. It was here that she attended dental hygiene school in Overland Park and has enjoyed her time in dentistry since graduating in 2014. Deidre is an avid sports fan and loves the Chiefs and KU! When not caring for patients, she enjoys taking her children to the various sports and extracurriculars they love and walking with her two small rescue dogs.
Cheri has been in dentistry for over 20 years and has obtained extensive knowledge in the field as an office manager and treatment coordinator. You can count on her to guide you through your needed treatment options! A proud mother of three, Cheri has loved her time as a mother and wife of 22 years. When not guiding patients, she likes to spend her time with her grandchildren.
Amy is Dr. Voorhees’ wife, a level-headed business manager, and a skilled dental hygienist. She’s most often behind the front desk, handling business affairs. When the patients need her, she’s ready and willing to help with an expert hand. When not handling day-to-day affairs in the office, Amy enjoys spending her downtime with family or reading a good book.
The youngest of the Voorhees daughters, Courtney chose to pursue a career of her own in dentistry as a dental hygienist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Voorhees comes from a large family with six siblings in St. Louis, Missouri, and cherishes his loving family atmosphere. He received his degrees in Biology and Psychology from Saint Louis University, then attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1986, Dr. Voorhees returned to St. Louis to open a dental office with his wife, Amy. Also dedicated to education, Dr. Voorhees attended a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in 1997. Two years later, he and his family moved to Lenexa, where he currently practices. When not helping patients, Dr. Voorhees loves spending time with his wife, their three children, and now grandchildren!
